The Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking to hire a computational neuroscientist to fill an Assistant Professor-rank tenure-eligible faculty position. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record whose proposed research program will occupy the cutting edge of computational neuroscience and interface with departmental research through either formal or informal collaborations. We especially encourage applicants with research interests that complement and extend both Departments’ existing research strengths in nervous system function and computational science. A strong track record and potential for success in securing competitive funding is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a vigorous research program, participate in professional and graduate training, and play a pivotal role in the growing computational neuroscience community at CU Anschutz.
