Assistant Professor (Term) Department of Pediatric Hospital Medicine
About The Position
The University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics is recruiting a full-time hospitalist for its Department of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. The faculty role may include training medical students and residents from Pediatrics, combined Medicine-Pediatrics, and Family Medicine. The newborn service provides care for infants at all four birthing centers in Louisville, Kentucky, with over 16,000 admission encounters per year. Newborn hospitalists diagnose and manage newborn medical conditions, work alongside advanced practice providers, consult with subspecialty services, and work with medical students, residents, and fellows. Services at each site include lactation services, social work, and access to subspecialty consultations. The department seeks a team member who enjoys a diverse patient population and thrives in a strong academic institution. The position is located at the Health Sciences Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
