The Prentiss Lee Faulconer Jr. Department of Accountancy & Legal Environment at Marshall University is seeking an assistant professor for a nine-month tenure track appointment beginning Fall 2027 semester, with preference given to candidates who can begin Spring 2027 semester. The position will include teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a willingness to work with DBA students. The primary need is in financial accounting, but applicants from all areas of accounting are welcome to apply. Candidates must possess the interest and/or demonstrated ability to teach using face-to-face, online, and hyflex delivery methods. Successful candidates need to demonstrate effective teaching ability, a potential for research that produces publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, and a commitment to participating in department, college, and university service.
