Full-time Assistant Professor faculty positions within the appointment stream are available within the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh for statistical and biostatistical scientists with a wide range of expertise and experience. Successful candidates will have experience in engaging in statistical collaborations with clinical/scientific investigators who direct research programs in multiple domains of psychiatry, and conducting their own funded, independent research (applied and/or methodological developments in statistics with applications in Psychiatry and related disciplines). Primary selection criteria are a history of statistical scholarship, evidence of successful collaborative research, and the ability to play a leadership role in contributing to an interactive and dynamic research community. Successful candidates will join a vibrant and highly collaborative research community with a storied history of excellence in basic, translational, and clinical research, and will be provided with resources to help support the development of their careers.
