About The Position

Wilkes University is seeking a full-time, Tenure Track Assistant Professor for the Passan School of Nursing Undergraduate Department, starting August 2026. The Passan School of Nursing offers accredited undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for didactic and clinical instruction in the undergraduate program, with a specialization in Adult Health nursing and relevant clinical experience. Faculty members are expected to excel in teaching, mentoring, and advising, and contribute to the university and community through service and scholarly activities, aligning with the student-centered core.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Nursing (or completing PhD dissertation or DNP scholarly project)
• Unencumbered RN license with eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching
• Current clinical competence
