About The Position

Wilkes University invites applicants for a full time, Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in the Passan School of Nursing Undergraduate Department beginning August, 2026. The Passan School of Nursing offers both undergraduate and graduate programs and is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The successful candidate is responsible for didactic and clinical instruction within the undergraduate program. The position requires specialization in Adult Health nursing and clinical experience reflecting that population. Efficient teaching, mentoring, and advising are expected of all faculty members at Wilkes University. Service to the university and community, as well as scholarly activities support the student-centered core.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Nursing (candidates completing their PhD dissertation or scholarly project component of their DNP education will be considered).
  • Unencumbered RN license with eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Current clinical competence.
