About The Position

Full-time tenure track or non-tenure track faculty member of the Department of Surgery at the Assistant Professor level with a clinical emphasis in Oncologic Surgery. Expected to teach and mentor both medical students and residents in the area of general surgery in particular surgical oncology. Participate as an active clinical member of the Colorectal and Oncologic Surgery Division. Perform academic research related to surgery oncology. Participate on departmental and university committees as assigned. Requirements

  • Board eligible or board certified in Surgery.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Surgical Oncology.
  • Background in teaching and research.

Responsibilities

  • Hold a teaching faculty appointment with the School of Medicine.
