About The Position

The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay seeks applicants for a tenure‑track position in Supply Chain Management to be housed in its Department of Business Administration. The Cofrin School of Business offers a BBA with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management (SCM), an MS in SCM, and several SCM certificates, including the Logistics and Planning Certificate, the Sourcing and Production Certificate, and the Supply Chain Project and Procurement Certificate. The School prioritizes teaching excellence, learner success, quality scholarship, engagement with the regional business community, and dedication to collaboration, institutional service, community engagement, and professional service. Professional experience in business is viewed favorably. Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business with a specialization in a relevant/related field from an AACSB accredited institution at time of application. Candidates who have not completed their doctorate by the start date will be hired into a terminal appointment at the rank of Instructor with a rate determined at the time of hire. Upon degree conferral, the title will change to Assistant Professor. The contract will not be renewed if the degree is not conferred by the end of the terminal appointment.
  • Demonstrated or emerging record of scholarly activity appropriate to career stage, including peer-reviewed publications.
  • Ability to teach foundational to graduate-level business and supply chain management and logistics courses.
  • Evidence of effective and inclusive teaching.
  • Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, or professional service.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management and logistics or general business.
  • Maintain an active program of scholarship consistent with rank, including peer-reviewed publications and collaborative research with faculty and students.
  • Mentor students in the “transcripts to resumes” program.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with regional organizations.
  • Engage in institutional, community, and professional service.
  • Contribute to curriculum innovation and program development within the Cofrin School of Business.
  • Participate fully in AACSB accreditation activities, including societal impact initiatives aligned with sustainability.

  • Eligible employees earn 13-27 days of vacation each year, depending on years of service and employment type.
