The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is undergoing a period of growth and transformation, focusing on delivering high-value care, driving research and innovation, and cultivating excellence in medical education. The Division of Oncology within the Department of Medicine is a dynamic and expanding program dedicated to patient care, research, and education. Faculty provide comprehensive cancer care across UTMB’s hospitals, offering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, multidisciplinary management of complex malignancies, and participation in innovative clinical trials. The Division is committed to advancing cancer care through research, education, and collaboration, working closely with surgical, radiation, and palliative care teams. The Division also plays an active role in medical student and resident education. UTMB is seeking a full-time physician at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice within the Division of Medical Oncology. This position emphasizes high-quality clinical cancer care, active participation in teaching, and engagement in the academic mission of the department. The successful candidate will join a team of faculty dedicated to delivering exceptional oncology care, advancing clinical education, and participating in scholarly, quality improvement, and research initiatives.
