About The Position

The Department of Molecular Genetics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Investigators addressing fundamentally important biological questions in any area of eukaryotic Developmental Biology, Cell Biology, or Genomics are encouraged to apply. Applicants with interest and expertise in imaging, quantitative biology, computational biology, multi-omics analyses or systems biology will be especially competitive.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or MD).
  • At least two years of post-doctoral or equivalent experience (exceptions made for candidates holding graduate-to-faculty transition awards).

  • Strong record of demonstrated research productivity.
  • Ability to develop a rigorous research program.
  • Commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Interest and expertise in imaging, quantitative biology, computational biology, multi-omics analyses or systems biology.
