Tenure track position. The successful applicant is expected to teach 12 hours of courses in mathematics per semester. Courses are dependent on the qualifications and background, but will most likely include upper-level mathematics, such as calculus, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, abstract algebra, and non-Euclidean geometry. Evaluate and revise curriculum and courses for mathematics program. Work with diverse population of students, including non-traditional students. Assist with student recruitment and retention. Assist with writing grant proposals as needed. Assist with departmental and program assessment, this includes national accreditation for mathematics education program. Develop, implement, and engage in professional development activities related to teaching mathematics. Other duties as needed.
