About The Position

The successful candidate will teach 12 credits, in each of two semesters, in mathematics at both the introductory and advanced levels, both within the General Education curriculum and as required by various University science, engineering, and design majors. The successful candidate will participate in service at the program, college and/or university level, and contribute to course assessment as needed under direction of course or program coordinator. Conducting regular office hours and attending monthly College faculty meetings are required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mathematics or math pedagogy (Ed.D. preferred), or a closely related discipline, by the employment start date.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the University level.
• Ability to engage in a collaborative teaching and learning environment.
• Ability to apply active student learning pedagogies in the college classroom.

Nice To Haves

• 3-4 years’ experience teaching mathematics at the University level is preferred.
