About The Position

The Department of Management and Health Care Administration at Marshall University is seeking an Assistant Professor for a nine-month tenure track appointment in Management. This role involves teaching responsibilities at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The position begins either in January 2027 or August 2027, depending on the candidate's availability. The salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Qualified candidates must demonstrate an interest in and/or ability to teach using both face-to-face and online modalities, possess above-average teaching skills, and engage in quality scholarly research. The Lewis College of Business, one of ten colleges at Marshall University, is a Carnegie high-research activity institute located in Huntington, West Virginia. Requirements

Ph.D. or equivalent in Management or a related field.
Interest in and/or demonstrated ability to teach face-to-face and online modalities.
Above-average teaching ability.
Quality scholarly research.
