About The Position

Hofstra is seeking an Assistant Professor of Information Systems & Business Analytics (AI). The position calls for a coherent research agenda relevant to artificial intelligence in business and organizations, demonstrated potential for publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, and the ability or potential to teach business statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will work collaboratively, mentor students, and serve the Hofstra community.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in information systems, business analytics, decision sciences, or a closely related discipline from a university with an AACSB-accredited business school or equivalent accreditation. ABD candidates will be considered if the doctorate is expected to be completed by the start of the appointment.
• Strong evidence of potential for publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
• A coherent research agenda relevant to artificial intelligence in business and organizations.
• Evidence of high-quality teaching or strong potential for teaching excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to teach business statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Strong desire to work collaboratively, mentor students, and serve the Hofstra community.
