About The Position
Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), a premier university located in New England, seeks motivated applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Information Systems (dual mission tenure-track) to build on the university's strengths in the information technology space. We seek motivated applicants with research focused on blockchain technologies and their applications. All blockchain application areas are welcome, with fintech applications especially welcome. Successful candidates must be prepared to conduct high-impact research, publish in high-quality outlets and commit to high-quality teaching.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Information Systems or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in high-quality scholarship and high-quality teaching.
- Demonstrated interests in blockchain and fintech.
- Ability and willingness to teach at the graduate and undergraduate level.

- Interest in collaborating with colleagues from the business school and other departments with technology, engineering, and analytics expertise.
