About The Position

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), a premier university located in New England, seeks motivated applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Information Systems (dual mission tenure-track) to build on the university's strengths in the information technology space. We seek motivated applicants with research focused on data analytics, business analytics, databases, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in organizations. Successful candidates must be prepared to conduct high-impact research, publish in high-quality outlets and commit to high-quality teaching. Successful candidates will embrace the opportunity to be part of established and new educational and research programs in the growing area of information systems and technology and business analytics. They will distinguish themselves by their interest in collaborating with colleagues from the business school and other departments with technology, engineering, and analytics expertise.

Requirements

A Ph.D. in Information Systems or equivalent is required.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to teach at the graduate and undergraduate level.

Demonstrated interests in analytics, databases, ML/AI applications in organizations and platforms.
