Assistant Professor of Higher Education & Organizational Leadership
About The Position
Maryville University of Saint Louis is seeking a dynamic colleague with professional leadership and teaching experience to join their expanding faculty team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, teamwork, and exceptional service to students and the University. This 11-month, 30-credit-hour tenure-track Assistant Professor position offers an opportunity to teach online courses in innovative, cohort-based, practitioner-oriented, doctoral (Ed.D.) programs in Higher Education Leadership and Organizational Leadership. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering an inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students.
Requirements
- Earned a doctorate in leadership, administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional leadership role
- College-level teaching experience
- Experience advising diverse students and/or teaching diverse students
- An offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background screening.
- Unofficial graduate transcripts must be attached to complete the application process.
- Applicants requiring University sponsorship to obtain employment authorization will not be considered for this position.

- Effective online teaching and experience advising doctoral applied research projects
