About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics in the School of Public Health. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. The role requires a strong methodological background in epidemiology, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to teaching and mentoring undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students. The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate with research investigators, teach courses in epidemiology and public health, conduct scholarly work, and secure extramural funding.

Requirements

PhD in epidemiology or a similar field (public health) from an accredited college or university.
Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interest in teaching and mentoring.
