The Department of Educational Leadership and School Counseling & Psychology is seeking a teacher-scholar committed to preparing reflective educational leaders who advance equity and inclusion in P–12 and higher education settings. The successful candidate will ideally possess leadership and scholarly experience in P–12 education and hold a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC) or equivalent administrative credential. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in Educational Leadership and, as appropriate, courses across School of Education programs; supervising administrator clinical experiences; advising and supervising master's theses, doctoral dissertations, and student research; maintaining an active scholarly agenda consistent with departmental retention, tenure, and promotion standards; mentoring and advising students; and contributing to departmental, school, university, and professional service activities. Faculty are also expected to engage with regional, state, and national educational leadership communities and organizations. The candidate must have the ability to teach in one or more of the following K-12 foundational areas: educational leadership; equity and cultural responsiveness; management of people, finance & resources; assessment & accountability leadership; applied research; program evaluation; school and community relations; change leadership/strategic planning; instructional leadership; curriculum, instruction, & assessment; social, political, and legal context of schooling; advanced school law and ethics. School of Education faculty regularly participate in evening and weekend activities, including orientations, retreats, community engagement events, and other program-related functions. Courses may be offered in face-to-face, synchronous online, asynchronous online, or hybrid formats.
