About The Position

Eureka College seeks an Assistant Professor of Communication starting in Fall 2027. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and specialize in interpersonal and/or organizational communication. The position includes teaching introductory courses, topics-based courses in the candidate’s specialty area(s), and upper-division courses in communication theory and ethics. The faculty member will also teach in the general education program, participate in Eureka’s emerging intergroup understanding programming, and serve as an academic advisor. The college is unable to offer work sponsorship.

Requirements

• Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
• Specialization in interpersonal and/or organizational communication.
• Ability to teach introductory courses, specialty-area topics courses, and upper-division courses in communication theory and ethics.
