About The Position
The purpose of this position is to provide faculty support to meet the teaching, research, and patient care needs of the Department of Dermatology, and assist in fulfilling UTMB’s threefold mission.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved medical school.
- Completion of an approved residency training program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Dermatology.
- Texas Medical license without restrictions.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care including consultative and outpatient services.
- Participating in all teaching activities of the division including conferences and lectures, rounds, and house staff supervision.
- Advancing clinical knowledge through his/her academic and scholarly efforts.
- Advising and evaluating residents and students.
- Providing medical direction for Hospital services.
- Participating in committee memberships at the departmental and Health System level.
