About The Position

The Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for faculty positions in Neurology. This evergreen posting is intended to build a pool of qualified applicants for current and future Assistant Professor opportunities across the department. The Department of Neurology is seeking board-certified or board-eligible neurologists with an interest in the full breadth and depth of inpatient neurology to join our expanding Neurohospitalist Program, which currently provides coverage across ten hospitals in the Atlanta area. Both academic and community-based positions are available within our growing team. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and training. Emory University Hospitals serve as the primary academic teaching hospitals in the greater Atlanta area and are a major referral center for the Southeast, while also providing comprehensive neurologic care to patients throughout the region. These positions offer the opportunity to manage a wide range of complex inpatient neurologic cases, including a high volume of stroke patients, while benefiting from reasonable work hours, a highly supportive team, and competitive compensation. Faculty also have abundant opportunities to teach residents and medical students, as well as participate in clinical effectiveness research across the Emory Healthcare system.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible neurologists.
Interest in the full breadth and depth of inpatient neurology.

Responsibilities

Manage a wide range of complex inpatient neurologic cases, including a high volume of stroke patients.
Teach residents and medical students.
Participate in clinical effectiveness research across the Emory Healthcare system.
