About The Position
Texas A&M University-Victoria seeks one full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics with a start date of August 2027. The Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Texas A&M University-Victoria invites applications for a tenure-track position in Mathematics. We are seeking a mathematician with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education or closely related areas. Candidates with a confirmed Ph.D. completion date will be considered. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education and will contribute to a vibrant department that supports the mathematics major and core curriculum. Teaching responsibilities may include Finite Math, College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, Differential Equations, or upper-division mathematics courses. Preference will be given to applicants whose research area is applied mathematics or computational math. Evidence of an active research agenda and the ability to publish in the field of expertise is expected.
Requirements
