Nursing Programs at Santa Fe College (SF) provides high quality nursing education that is student-oriented, accessible, and based on the healthcare needs of our community. Our Nursing Programs offer 3-degree programs which includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), and the Licensed Practical Nursing to Associate in Science in Nursing Bridge program. Additionally, Nursing Programs offers postsecondary adult vocational courses for Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Practical Nursing which prepares students for better career opportunities. Under general supervision, the Assistant Professor will develop, prepare, and teach a variety of coursework in the Nursing Programs, specifically Maternal Infant. This position will be housed primarily at the Northwest Campus but may be assigned to one of the College’s six (6) locations throughout Alachua and Bradford counties. Candidates must have the flexibility to teach courses during the day, evening, or online, as well as taught using other distance learning formats. This position has a 9-month contract based on teaching 15 credit hours in the Fall and 15 credit hours in the Spring. Summer instructional opportunities may be available for additional compensation based on departmental need.
