About The Position
The Assistant Professor Instruction role in the School of Medicine Physician Assistant Studies program involves teaching and active participation in all facets of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. The faculty member will guide and mentor students through both the didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum. Additional duties include engaging in scholarly activities, providing academic advising to students, contributing to school and university committees, and undertaking other assigned responsibilities.
Requirements
- Master's or higher degree from an accredited institution.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Licensed PA in the state of Texas or eligible for license in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience.
Nice To Haves
- Doctoral Degree.
- Five years of clinical experience.
Responsibilities
