About The Position

The Assistant Professor Instruction role in the School of Medicine Physician Assistant Studies program involves teaching and active participation in all facets of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students throughout both the didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum. Additional duties include engaging in scholarly activity, advising students, serving on various school and university committees, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Master's or higher degree from an accredited institution.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Licensed PA in the state of Texas or eligible for license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

• Doctoral Degree.
• Five years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities
