About The Position
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology (Tenure-Stream) in the Division of Physical and Computational Sciences, beginning Fall 2026.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or ABD (with expected completion by August 2026 if appropriate) in Program or a closely related field.
- Strong commitment to teaching undergraduates.
Nice To Haves
- Applied experience within the field of Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level.
- Preferred courses may include Materials and Materials Lab, Technical Calculus 2, Technical Differential Equations, and Mechanical Engineering Technology Senior Project Proposal, and Senior Project Design.
- Candidates experienced in working with college students from varied backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Teach twelve credits per semester in the program at the undergraduate level.
- Scholarship, advising, and service activities are required.
