POSITION: A probationary tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor is available in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management in the College of Business. The department seeks a dynamic candidate who is committed to excellence in teaching and scholarly activity. This appointment carries an initial two-year probationary appointment beginning with the 2026/2027 academic year, August 17, 2026. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in the area of Marketing or related field by August 17, 2026. (ABD applicants may be considered but must complete the terminal degree by March 20, 2027.) Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Desired areas of teaching include but are not limited to Marketing Principles, Marketing Strategy/Capstone, Professional Sales, Sports Marketing. DUTIES: Teach courses in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management based on program needs and in accordance with specialization. Participate in research and scholarly activities in maintenance of AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) status. Provide academic advising to students as assigned; engage in service to the department, University and profession. DEPARTMENT: The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management supports 13 full-time faculty dedicated to fostering student success through transformational academic and experiential learning activities. The department offers majors in Marketing, Digital Marketing Analytics, Professional Sales, and Operations & Supply Chain Management. The department is housed within the AACSB-accredited UW-Eau Claire College of Business. The College of Business maintains enrollment of approximately 2,000 undergraduate students and acts as the managing partner of the UW System Consortium online MBA program.
