West Virginia University School of Medicine – Health Professions located in Morgantown, WV, is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track (12-month) Assistant Professor, Department of Human Performance, Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders to contribute to a well-established program with a tradition of excellence in teaching, research/scholarship, and service. This faculty member will contribute to the mission of WVU and the program in Communication Sciences and Disorders housed within the School of Medicine. The successful candidate will provide high-quality teaching within the undergraduate Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master of Science Speech Language Pathology programs, provide clinical services, and supervise students in the WVU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic. Individuals with clinical experience and/or expertise in pediatric communication disorders will be preferred. Active engagement in Division, University, and professional service activities is also expected including participation in Division and committee meetings as well as recruitment and review of applicants to the master’s in speech-language pathology programs.
