The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Saint Thomas, Saint Paul, MN is seeking applications for a tenure track assistant professor position to start in Fall 2027. This is an exciting time for growth in the Electrical & Computer Engineering program at St Thomas, as we have recently expanded into the new $110M Schoenecker Center with state-of-the-art engineering labs. The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department offers undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering and a master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering. As a student-focused, liberal arts institution with a strong hands-on curriculum, we emphasize undergraduate and graduate education that provides technical excellence with a significant focus on real world applications. Successful candidates will be expected to teach foundational undergraduate courses, develop and deliver an engaging set of courses in their area of expertise, as well as establish and maintain an active research program. Applications from candidates with specialization in any area of Electrical & Computer Engineering are welcome. Relevant Industry experience is highly valued.
