The Section of Oral Oncology, Department of Head and Neck Surgery, at UT MD Anderson is seeking candidates for an assistant professor position in the clinical faculty track with a focus in oral rehabilitation of patients with cancer and expertise in treating oral morbidities of cancer care. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in oral/maxillofacial surgery or prosthodontics/maxillofacial prosthodontics or oral medicine, and must have completed a fellowship in one of the recognized dental specialties/sub-specialties. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas. The candidate will develop a specialty practice in cancer-related oral rehabilitation collaborating closely with the head and neck multidisciplinary team. There will be ample opportunities for clinical research in a comprehensive cancer center environment. Responsibilities will also include teaching of residents and fellows. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and research.
