About The Position

This role combines classroom instruction, clinical education, and program coordination to educate the next generation of radiologic technologists. The position supports student success, ensures high-quality instruction, and maintains JRCERT standards. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical education with classroom learning, developing relationships with clinical partners, supporting preceptors, and overseeing clinical skills labs, student assignments, and evaluations. Teaching duties involve preparing and delivering courses, evaluating student learning, advising students, and using assessment results to improve instruction and curriculum. The role also contributes to accreditation activities, program review, outcomes assessment, curriculum development, recruitment events, and interprofessional education with other Health Professions and Nursing programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required. A Bachelor’s degree in another health related field may be considered only if an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved school of Radiologic Technology has been earned.
Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a radiography technologist is required.
One year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program or institution is required at the time of hire.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists current registration or equivalent in radiography or equivalent license for the state of Idaho.

Nice To Haves

Candidates who hold an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and meet the remaining minimum qualifications may be considered for an Acting Clinical Coordinator appointment at a lower salary column while completing a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field. The Bachelor’s degree must be completed within two years of appointment. Upon successful completion of the Bachelor’s degree, the employee would be eligible to transition to the Assistant Professor/Clinical Coordinator tenure-track position and receive the corresponding salary adjustment.
