About The Position

The Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking to hire Basic Science-Open Rank Faculty to join the Department of Surgery / Research Division. This is a tenured/tenure-track faculty position (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor). The Department of Surgery in the Morsani College of Medicine of the University of South Florida (USF) invites applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty positions in the Division of Surgical Research. We seek applicants with an excellent record of achievement to join our interdisciplinary and interactive faculty. Expertise is required in studying fundamental and translational aspects in the pathophysiology of diseases relevant to the broad field of surgical research.

Requirements

• MD, PhD or equivalent degree
• Strong publication track record, commensurate with experience and rank
• Current extramural funding
• Evidence of active contribution to graduate training and/or medical education
