About The Position

The Department of Humanities, Arts, & Film (HAF) at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month, full-time, and tenure-earning position for an Assistant Professor of Audiovisual Media & Sound Studies. Expected start date is August 7, 2027. Salary is negotiable. Requirements

A Ph. D. in film studies, music studies, media studies, cultural studies or related field from an accredited institution is required.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
Applications from individuals who are ABD are considered, but the degree must be conferred by the appointment start date.
