Assistant Production Manager (Seasonal)
About The Position
Lincoln Center Theater (LCT) is seeking a seasonal Assistant Production Manager to join its production department from August 2026 to April 2027. This role is integral to the production team, providing assistance to the Production Manager (PM) and Associate Production Managers (APMs). The production team is responsible for the coordination and execution of stage productions across LCT's venues: the Vivian Beaumont Theater, Mitzi Newhouse Theater, and Claire Tow Theater. The department also collaborates with other LCT administrative departments for various events such as readings, workshops, and special events.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively across differing departments.
- Ability to positively respond as plans and circumstances evolve and change.
- Ability for a flexible schedule during technical rehearsals and preview shows.
Nice To Haves
- A year of experience in theater or an arts organization is preferable but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist PM & APMs with day-to-day activities.
- Liaise with other LCT administrative departments.
- Maintain Production Management office equipment and supplies.
- Liaise with the show companies as directed by PM & APM’s.
- Attend production meetings and staff meetings.
- Execute and coordinate purchases with PM, APM’s and department heads.
- Help implement inclusive practices for LCT productions.
- Assist with administrative tasks in other production departments as needed.
