About The Position

This assistant principal position is located at the UT Elementary in Austin, Texas. The University of Texas Elementary School (UTES) is a public charter school and follows all state and federal regulations for public school services. UTES is part of the University of Texas at Austin’s College of Education. The purpose of this role is to assist the principal with the day-to-day operations of the school.

Requirements

• Master's degree.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience at the elementary or middle school level.
• Resume/CV
• 3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisor
• Letter of interest

Nice To Haves

• Fluent Spanish Speaker.
• Experience in at least one of the following Special Education, Intervention Services or LPAC

Responsibilities

• Support the ongoing professional development of teachers, faculty and staff.
• Analyze campus data to inform instructional practices, intervention programming and professional development on campus.
• Promote positive campus culture by working collaboratively with parents, teachers, university and community partners.
