About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction and delegation of the Principal, have direct supervision of all high school teachers and classified personnel as delegated by the Principal.
  • Be directly responsible for student discipline at the high school.
  • Carry out an effective plan of classroom observations and teacher evaluation to include pre-conferences, classroom visitations, written reports, and post-conferences with certificated staff members.
  • Make faculty supervisory assignments (e.g. study hall, hall supervision, noon lunch supervisors).
  • Provide administrative support and guidance to high school faculty.
  • Organize and supervise the noon lunch operation.
  • Assist the Principal in administrative areas as needed.
  • Be responsible for school busing as it pertains to high school students.
  • Take disciplinary actions and counsel with students involved in school bus and activity problems.
  • Serve as a resource for teachers in reference to improvement of instruction.
  • Provide the administration supervision of custodial services of the high school building and grounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
