About The Position

Bergamo Montessori at Serrano is seeking a Primary Assistant Teacher to join their team. In this role, you will assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, preparing and organizing learning materials, and supervising children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. The school offers a supportive environment for teachers and invests in their growth through education incentives and career development programs.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 units in ECE, including a curriculum course
At least 2 years experience working in a school or childcare setting
Ability to work indoors and outdoors with children, stand and stoop repeatedly throughout the day, and lift up to 40lbs
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners

Nice To Haves

Experience working in schools
Backgrounds in customer service, healthcare, retail, or other fields are welcome
