About The Position

Come join Atlanta Montessori International School at AMIS-Cliff Valley as an Assistant Primary Teacher. The role supports implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, preparation and organization of learning materials, and supervision of children during activities, meals, and naptime to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The Assistant Teacher helps lead learning activities, monitors children’s progress and development, and contributes to a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The school offers education incentives and career development programs to help educators thrive. Starting pay is $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with primary/preschool-age students.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
