About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Pool & Beach Manager to join our Recreation team. This leadership position plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our award-winning pool and beach experiences. From managing luxury guest services and team performance to ensuring operational excellence across multiple venues, the Assistant Pool & Beach Manager helps create the exceptional experiences that define Four Seasons. Working closely with Resort leadership, this role supports a dynamic team of recreation professionals while fostering an environment of collaboration, service excellence, and aloha.

Requirements

Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
One to two years of leadership experience in hospitality, recreation, pool operations, resort operations, food and beverage, or a related luxury service environment.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
Strong guest relations and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
Strong working knowledge of operational budgeting, scheduling, inventory management, and labor controls.
Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, train, and develop Recreation employees to ensure Four Seasons cultural and service standards are consistently achieved.
Partner with the Pool & Beach leadership team to oversee day-to-day operations across all pool and beach venues.
Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the operation, engaging with guests and employees while providing exceptional service recovery when needed.
Build meaningful relationships with guests, residents, club members, and group contacts to create memorable and personalized experiences.
Ensure all poolside food and beverage offerings, amenities, and recreational services are delivered to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Manage labor costs, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and operating expenses while maximizing efficiency and service levels.
Conduct daily lineups, team meetings, and ongoing coaching sessions to drive engagement and performance.
Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Monitor the physical condition of facilities, equipment, furniture, and recreational assets, identifying opportunities for improvement and preventative maintenance.
Uphold all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
