About The Position

Provide leadership as a strategic partner in the realization of company goals. Manages the metal finishing manufacturing activities to ensure both employee and environmental safety, while responsibly meeting and/or exceeding product requirements for quality, quantity, and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of and commitment to Servant Leadership (Servant Leader: One who identifies and meets the legitimate needs (as opposed to wants) of others and has developed the skills of influencing people to enthusiastically contribute their hearts, minds, and other resources toward goals identified as being the common good. James C.   • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Understanding of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules relative to the manufacturing process.
  • Communicates in English and demonstrates ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner.
  • Demonstrates ability to actively listen to others
  • At least five years of related work experience
  • Continuing education as made available and/or required by Rosenboom
  • On-site training specific to job responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Represents Rosenboom as a servant leader in the realization of company objectives, strategies, and goals.
  • Provides leadership through direct supervision of assigned employees including ensuring the completion of activities such as discipline, performance appraisals, training, and development opportunities.
  • Directs and coordinates production, processing, and distribution activities as appropriate.
  • Provides guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical-, systems-, or process-related topics.
  • Reviews processing schedules, production orders, and records to oversee the management of equipment and staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
  • Analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports to prevent and/or detect production problems.
  • Is a strategic partner in the development, implementation, and/or application of policy and procedure related to employee management.
  • Reviews operations and confers with technical and/or other support staff to resolve production or processing problems including Quality Assurance and Maintenance.
  • Monitors and/or reviews information specific to environmental issues to detect, assess, or correct potential problems; and,
  • Works with appropriate personnel regarding improvement activities/programs, including but not limited to Wildly Important Goals (WIGs), Lasting Improvements From Teamwork (LIFT), Total Productive Asset Management (TPAM), Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM), and Continuous Improvement (CI).
  • Actively identifies areas for improvement and works with appropriate personnel to evaluate opportunities and implement improvement measures.
  • Continuously researches and investigates potential new industry processes and product advancements.
