About The Position

The Assistant Parts Store Manager will work closely with store leadership to ensure customers receive accurate, timely, and professional parts support. This position is ideal for an experienced parts professional who is comfortable working with automotive and heavy-equipment parts and assumes operational responsibility when the Primary POC is unavailable and must be qualified to manage regional support.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive, fleet, heavy-equipment, industrial, or parts operations.
• Strong parts-identification and research skills.
• Experience using parts catalogs or electronic parts databases.
• Experience with inventory systems.
• Strong customer-service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily parts-store operations.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Support parts-counter personnel and daily workflow.
• Research and identify automotive and equipment parts.
• Use catalogs, databases, and manufacturer resources to identify parts.
• Cross-reference OEM and aftermarket parts.
• Process orders, backorders, returns, and warranties.
• Assist with inventory management and reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels and replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist with delivery coordination.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Help resolve customer parts-identification and sourcing issues.
• Support quality, safety, and operational procedures.
• Assist store leadership with daily priorities and problem resolution.
