The University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) is recruiting a full-time, tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in Cancer Biostatistics to join their thriving cancer research environment. This person will hold a primary appointment in the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be a core faculty in the UMGCCC Biostatistics Shared Resource and will be required to support Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center investigators and the research infrastructure of the Center. The Biostatistics Shared Resource (BSR) is responsible for statistical collaboration across the Center, including the design and statistical oversight of clinical trials, and quantitative educational efforts related to the training of fellows and students. The Shared Resource currently includes 4 full-time PhD faculty from the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, as well as affiliated data science faculty from across the University of Maryland. There also is close collaboration with the Institute of Genome Sciences and the Institute for Health Computing.
