The Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction or Associate Professor of Instruction, to begin August 2027. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s instructional mission through excellence in undergraduate teaching, curriculum development, and service. This position emphasizes high-quality, evidence-based instruction and active engagement in a large and vibrant psychology program. The in-person, 9-month instructional load is three courses in each semester. Initial professional-track faculty appointments are typically made for one year and may be renewed subject to performance and funding. Salary will be commensurate with rank and qualifications.
