About The Position

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a Radiation Oncologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level (non-tenure track) to join their community-based academic radiation oncology practice at the Central Maryland Radiation Oncology Center (CMRO) in Columbia, MD. CMRO is a partnership between University of Maryland Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Medicine. The role involves expanding the community practice, increasing patient volume, participating in clinical trials, and developing collaborative relationships with local healthcare providers. The position offers opportunities for promotion, teaching, and mentorship, and the center is equipped with state-of-the-art radiation therapy technologies.

Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland.
  • A medical degree from an accredited institution (domestic or foreign equivalent).
  • Strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
