The Assistant Manager coordinates daily operational needs, facility readiness, event logistics, and maintenance activities, with a special emphasis on preservation-sensitive oversight of historic resources. The position requires anticipating citizen and patron needs and delivering cost-effective, customer-friendly services. Collaboration with the Historic Resources Manager ensures that operations, maintenance, and site use align with preservation objectives and interpretive goals.
