About The Position

As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the company's operations. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. SPEEDY Delivery LLC (SPEEDY) is a final mile delivery service provider for furniture, mattress, and Pool distribution center retailers. Requirements

  • Must have management experience.
  • Must have Pool Distribution experience
  • Has some college education.
  • Is a natural leader and possesses strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Has a gentle spirit and remains calm when things go wrong beyond our control.
  • Possesses excellent customer relations skills.
  • Is detailed and well spoken.
  • Is comfortable with Word, Excel and computer software in general.
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Management: 1 year (Required)
  • English (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience in this industry.
  • Warehouse distribution: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Spanish (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and performance
  • Manage and optimize processes to enhance overall efficiency
  • Lead business development initiatives to drive growth and profitability
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct strategic planning to align operations with organizational goals
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement
