About The Position

The Assistant Operations Coordinator supports the daily operational workflow of the warehouse and production departments through equipment allocation, inventory coordination, order entry, and logistics support. This role works directly under the supervision of the Head Operations Coordinator and plays a key role in maintaining efficient equipment movement, accurate inventory tracking, and smooth interdepartmental communication. This is a full-time, in-person position focused primarily on computer-based operational coordination within Finesse, while also assisting with warehouse preparation projects and occasional physical loading responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have prior AV industry experience and a working knowledge of audiovisual, lighting, video, and rigging equipment sufficient to make informed operational decisions and support production logistics.

Requirements

  • Experience in audio, lighting, or video production environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced operational and warehouse environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across departments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic computer and inventory management proficiency required
  • Ability to perform occasional physical warehouse work, including loading and moving equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Finesse software preferred
  • Well-rounded technical familiarity across multiple production disciplines preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage equipment allocation and order coordination within Finesse across all departments
  • Coordinate equipment transfers and logistics with external warehouse locations and partner shops
  • Work directly under the supervision of the Head Operations Coordinator to support daily operational workflow
  • Oversee and implement proper barcode scanning and warehouse inventory tracking procedures
  • Coordinate with Sales and department Operations teams to resolve equipment availability challenges
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Support warehouse preparation projects and operational improvement efforts
  • Enter simple dry hire orders into Finesse to assist the Sales team with administrative workload
  • Maintain accurate operational records, allocations, and inventory data within company systems
  • Assist with truck loading, warehouse movement, and general operational support as needed
  • Help ensure equipment readiness, organization, and efficient warehouse operations
