About The Position
The Assistant Nursing Manager coordinates, plans, organizes, implements, and monitors nursing care of the adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient as applicable in accordance with departmental philosophy and objectives. They facilitate communication and continuity of care for patients, accepting accountability for daily operations of their respective units when on duty. This role is for a Registered Nurse who will make a meaningful impact in patients' lives while enjoying a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and work-life balance.

- Adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act
Responsibilities
- Provides high quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Assumes the responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the needs of the patient and family members.
- Directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care provided.
- Utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act.
- Reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
