About The Position
Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an experienced RN with SNF supervisory experience to serve as the Assistant Nursing Director for their Transitional Care Unit (TCU) in Haverhill. This full-time, 40 hours/week position operates Monday-Friday, with a salary range of $104,000-$115,000 annually, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The Assistant Nursing Director will work under the Chief Nursing Officer and manage the day-to-day operations of the 20-bed TCU.
Requirements
- Current BSN and RN Massachusetts Licensure
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- BLS/ACLS required
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years SNF nursing experience strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, responsibility and accountability for nursing staff and care within our transitional care unit.
- Oversees patient care management and ensures that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with the established standards, policies and procedures of the transitional care unit and the hospital.
- Is responsible for development and management of personnel, supplies, equipment and for maintenance of a safe environment.
